Our pride and judgment are what builds structures. That’s why a humble, contrite heart, God does not despise. We are never justified taking the enemy’s scripts. We are not justified to treat those who oppose us badly back. You can pray that the Lord might help them see their part and be repentant.  But first, you’re being graced to go to God and ask forgiveness first.  It’s your decision. I can’t make it for you. I do believe you’re being called to look at your sin in this matter, which is the heavy judgment. You say things like, “This is the way they are. I could care less.” It is like a coat of ice over your heart. We aren’t allowed to develop that and still be like Christ. Ask the Lord to show you what lie you’ve accepted inside of yourself that would want to hang on to being unloving and cold in your judgment. 

“Jesus meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine.”  Wow, that’s a tall order, but that’s what you’re being asked to pray for, the grace to be like He was. Go back to your priorities.  Why are we here in this life?  You need to find the places in your heart where you’re frozen from not being like unto Him.  What should be your first choice? “Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine.”

“Lord, in your great mercy, help her get out of this stuck place of ice in which she’s imitating the evil one and the choices he made. Please give her wisdom to make a choice for life, not death. You came and set us a perfect example of how we’re to live among others. But Lord, it’s very hard for us to let go of our willfulness and choose what you showed us was the way to God. Help her get free.”
