TURNING OUR JUDGMENTS INTO A BLESSING

When we feel ourselves getting frustrated by people’s weaknesses, that’s a call to pray.  It’s the difference between opening a door that will bless a person versus opening a door that curses the person.  Pray a blessing.  Don’t curse. When we find ourselves getting irritated, we can choose to open the door to love the person.  Otherwise, we are throwing hot coals on their head with judgment. The person who irritates us should get more blessings from us.  They seem to be rewarded for their bad behavior, but that’s where irritation can become a blessing because it’s a call to prayer.

Jesus said, “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” (Matthew 5:44)

Being a negative, judging person is carrying on Satan’s work. The work of Christ is to spread the blessings of God.
