TRUTH LEADS TO FREEDOM

Betty: You’ve really identified with somebody else’s suggestion of who you are, and you are bound and determined you’re going to be that way.  I think you have an obligation to let Jesus show you who you really are, and be that way. Don’t let deceit lead you to not let yourself develop to who you are. You’ve been fed a bill of goods, and you swallowed it. And now, you want to start a fight with the Lord who is trying to call you out of it. This part of you is really in this lazy position of, “That’s who I am, so deal with it.” Let your adult open the door with Jesus there. You’re dealing with a teenager in rebellion. And she’s stuck.

AM: “So, Lord, I do hold up all of us who are bullheaded in the family and any person that’s caught up in this and is in need of healing, who is open to it in any way.”

Betty: I’m hearing the ancestor who… She was there. She’s very bull headed.  See, now  I’m hearing somebody say, “I’m bullheaded, and I’m proud of it.” You need to pray for that part.

AM: So, Lord, I pray that you set the whole family free of this negative generational stuff that keeps coming down

Betty: I would say, “Help us to be willing to be set free and not be so bullheaded thinking that’s the way we are.” It’s like once you swallow a lie, you want to keep it. No. Once you swallow a lie, you want to get free of it.

AM: “Lord, in any way that this lie that’s inside of us opens that door to lying, please get us into truth.

Betty: See, truth leads to freedom. So, if the Lord gets you into truth, then He can get you into freedom. But you have to be willing to leave where you are, and go into the unknown with the Lord.
