Betty: See, that’s all part of spiritual warfare. So, what we consider the perfect prayer, is not always the perfect prayer. The perfect prayer is to try to be faithful that day in whatever is happening. And in some cases, it does mean you have to sit there and endure enemy attacks.
AM: Or disruptions…I have Luke home because of the lockdowns, and he’s going with me to church each day. So, I’m shifting my routine.
Betty: You kind of take him where he is knowing that God is going to be using this in his formations in some way. And had he been under the normal regime, you would not have had that kind of time with him. So, that’s the way the Lord is working in each one of us to achieve what he needs for the call He has placed on us. I think it is so important to keep in mind with God, “With God, there are no accidents.” All of this is part of the call of who we are before Him. And we get frustrated, because we want to give this perfect thing to God. But the so-called perfect thing, was not what God is wanting at this time. What is actually occurring to us, is what God is wanting. So, what’s important is that we deal with the reality that is before us each day. That’s what gives honor to God not our perfect plan for the day. Because if we get attached to the perfect plan for the day, then we’re going to be frustrated by the will of God as it happens in crazy, dumb things that happen. There’s a certain humor when you get into enough wisdom and understanding in the will of God. It’s humorous, “Oh, okay if that’s the way you want it.” And you die to your glorious plan that would have been perfect.
Do you need to surrender to what God is allowing to happen in your life right now rather than fighting with Him? Take consolation in knowing that “With God, there are no accidents.”

Hi Annemarie,
I was at Magnificat yesterday and heard your testimony. You are very brave and a beautiful example of Faith. I was going to introduce myself, but many women were speaking with you; a testimony to your impact on us all.
I am grateful I was able to attend. I also appreciate being included in your emails for Greater Freedom. i look forward to meeting you at some point in the future. Take great care, Vicky
