Betty: You’re dying to your will. So, your ego will be fighting the input. So, every once in awhile I think, “Oh my gosh. I really need to warn AM about the arrogance of the ego. You can’t trust it. Because it’ll stand in the way of you receiving the gift of the Divine Will, because it does not want to yield to the Lord.” 

That part is very clever. So, don’t trust it. You have to ask the Lord to keep exposing your arrogance and the ego’s hidden motives. Tell the Lord you really want His will to take over. Pray for help. But be careful then. Because some of the stuff I’m teaching will be a direct threat to your ego. Because Fr Iannuzzi is really given the self truth, and Jesus is truth. So, whenever you get upset with Fr Iannuzzi, take notice. For example, if you say, “This is stupid stuff. We don’t need to know it.” Be very careful. It could be your ego.  

Is there any part of you that needs to die to your will? Ask the Lord to expose your arrogance and the ego’s hidden motives.
