IF WE REFUSE TO BE WHO GOD IS CALLING US TO BE, THAT IS REALLY AT THE HEART OF ARROGANCE BIG TIME

Betty: Talk with Mary Kay about what we talked about today. She has a gift to help you be able to give people an example of how to read the blog to be able to receive the healing more directly from God. Because what happened to you in our prayer sessions can happen directly to them if they pray the blog. The main thing is we need to get the doors open to goodness, love, and truth. Because those are the only doors that Jesus comes through out of respect for who he is. He cannot be a part of anything that is not good, loving or true. It’s His very essence.

AM: They may ask, “How do I get the doors open to goodness, love, and truth?”

Betty: “You have to be open. You may be struggling, but you have to be open to receive goodness, love and truth.” Because the Lord keeps saying to me, “I cannot pay homage to false gods.” So, anything opposed to goodness, love, and truth is a false god.

AM: People usually want goodness and love, but they don’t always want truth.

Betty: Yeah, they don’t want to face their lie, just like the arrogant part of you. There’s a part of you that doesn’t want to face that. But do you see? If we refuse to be who God is calling us to be, that is really at the heart of arrogance big time. I suspect if you stay open, there’s a part of you that you’re not letting be. And it has to come forth for you to be fully alive and have an obedient heart.

AM: Is it a good or bad side?

Betty: You have to be it to find out. It’s that whole thing with you being tortured that you’re not like your sisters and your mom in deep cleaning . Wouldn’t it be shocking if you find out in the end that your “no” is part why you’re not?

AM: Oh, that’s awful.

Betty: Arrogance can do that to you. Let go and let God. Stop playing God. Let him be His real self through you.

AM: Why would arrogance want to close that door to that gift?

Betty: Because it’s arrogant. When I was young, why did I want to close the door to becoming who the Lord called me to be? Because I was arrogant. I thought I knew more than God. How arrogant can one be?” The Lord seems to love when we have a repentant heart. So, that’s all you really need to do to get out of this mess. Let go and let God. Stop playing God. Let him be His real self through you.

Open the doors to goodness, love, and truth so you can be fully alive and have an obedient heart.
