GRACE IS TRYING TO REACH YOU TO LOOK AT YOUR NEGATIVE JUDGMENT

AM: They have negative judgments…

Betty: Don’t you think that’s what happens when a person suffers from throwing a negative judgment on the others. They don’t want to own that up about themselves. So, it’s easier to say, “So and so thinks negatively,” rather than, own up and say, “Hey, I’m the one who has the judgment on others.” There’s a tendency that anything that is not looking good for us, there’s human nature that says, “Oh. Well, then it goes over to somebody else. They have the problem.” But the contrary. grace is trying to reach us to look at our negative judgment. But we’re throwing it aside and saying, “Well, you know so and so has the negative.” We don’t want to accept the grace to enter into conversion.

The fruit of being negative about others is not a good fruit. It sours your own disposition and moves you toward being an unloving person. Whereas, grace is calling us to be loving. So it’s like, the whole idea of repenting and confessing that type of judgment is really to move us more toward grace. Why don’t you take all of that and put it up before the Lord, and ask for his forgiveness. Let’s just begin to work on it.
