AM: I‘m frustrated with X…

Betty: You have to be willing to connect into the Lord in faith, believing He’s God, and He can make a difference. You’re exasperated, because you’ve asked God so often, and X is still in denial about this problem. Can you say, “In Jesus name, I bind and rebuke you Satan, and demand that you stop oppressing me about X’s struggle. I will to believe that when it is good for X, Jesus, You will intervene, and set him free from this slavery in which he is bound. Satan, you will not have the ultimate victory. I choose to believe that God’s power is greater than yours with this. In Jesus name, I bind and rebuke any spirits of this oppression that are working to keep him bound. Jesus, I’m going to speak this in your name. Because I know it is your will that X be set free. In Jesus’ name, and by the power that only Jesus has, I bind and rebuke you Satan.  I command that you lose your hold on X that you have. Greater is Jesus than is your hold.”

I’m seeing here a real battle. It’s like there’s a part of you that has kind of lost faith. You almost believe that X’s problem is greater than the power of God, which common sense in you would not believe. But it’s almost like a feeling of unbelief. Can you say, “Lord Jesus, I take charge of those feelings, and I renounce them. I will not give the victory to Satan with my unbelief. I’m well aware these are feelings. But greater are You than all of my feelings. I will to believe that You will make a change in X, that You will help him crawl out of this pit into which he has fallen.” Go into tongues. 

AM: I feel angry about it. 

Betty: Can you say, “Lord, please heal me in any place where my desperate need to see X get out of this is part of the problem. 

AM: “Lord, heal me anywhere my judgment and anger is part of the problem.

Betty: Do some repenting in those places you see need repenting. It’s got to be his decision, or it’s not going to happen.”Lord, we just hold up this battle of the wills that’s going on here. You have the wisdom that AM needs as to how best to handle this. Please give her an infusion of wisdom from your side.” What I’m hearing is you have to let go, and put this whole thing in Jesus’ hands. You want the healing so badly that it’s hard for you to let go. And yet, the more you pressure X, the less likely it’s ever going to happen. What you could do is offer up the part of you that feels, “It’s such a waste of time to have to go through this. Why can’t he just catch on and change?” 

No. It’s like, even asking that question, is causing you to be more greatly frustrated. Just say, “This is a fact. The more others pressure, the less likely he’s going to change. So Lord, help us learn how to back off and really keep praying and crying out for your intercession.” Change has to come from within X. That’s the conditions he has put on this. And the more you press, the greater will be his resistance.  It’s like, “Okay X, you win. I’ll back off.” Every time you think of it say, “Lord, it’s Your problem.” Anything that’s gotta be done here, You’re going to have to do it.”
