Betty: What is that voice saying?

Betty: Okay, see that is a real rebellion against God’s call. You’ve got to stop running away and confront that. If God’s path for you is boring, then that part thinks it knows more than God. I find that part scary, because she’s liable to betray you if you keep giving her power.

AM: Well, I just try to make other people’s lives better.

Betty: Because you don’t go to the judgment that what God is permitting for you is boring. You refuse to go there. Rather, go to, “Lord please give me the strength to come against the rebellion of what I think you want of me. Make known your will for me. But above all, help me to obey that without demanding negative, damning judgments on it.”
