Betty: Keep trying to evangelize the unbeliever. Because that’s the one the enemy will try to work with. I always call it the Judas in me. We don’t like to talk about it, but all of us have the potential for betrayal in the Judas’ part of our personality that will be your Lord by silver. Eventually, you realize as Judas did in the end, that the silver was useless. That’s the fatalism of despair. We’re capable of it. That’s why our believer needs to continually hold that part up to the Lord and intercede that we will be faithful when tested. Paul said, “But for the grace of God, there goeth I.” So, even he was aware that if he didn’t really pray and intercede for help, he could wind up betraying Christ, the unbeliever, because that’s the one the enemy will try to work with. I always call it the Judas in me… unbeliever.
