AM: I’m not doing great. Yesterday I found myself very angry. 

Betty: Well, why don’t you get down to work, and pray in tongues, so that you get out of the blocks to your unconscious. That’s why you’re going to find people who don’t pray in tongues harder to work with, because they don’t have that facility to get unblocked that we do. 

AM: I’m struggling with staying focused since I got Covid…

Betty: Well, why don’t you say a prayer, and ask the Lord to help you with that?  I think what I’m hearing is that it has to do with your rebellion against God. So, the stuff we’re working on is right on for what you need to work on. See, when we’re in rebellion against God, we’re out of the right order. And so, Satan actually has easier access to us which doesn’t help. Because in your unconscious, he is probably encouraging you to disorder. Because Satan likes disorder. So, go into tongues, and see if you can really work with that. 

AM: When I pray, I find I’m just angry.  

Betty: Now, I’m going to give away some secrets of how I work with Betty, and see if it helps you. If I sense it is rebellion on my part, then I cry out to the Lord to help me get into the humble, contrite heart, so that he can grace me. Because if we’re in rebellion, we’re blocking God from being able to help us. God has this thing. He cannot pay homage to false idols. And when we’re in rebellion, we are in a false idol. So, in order to receive God’s grace, we have to cry out to Him. I do believe, when the psalmist cried, “Out of the depths, I cry unto the Lord, Oh Lord, hear my voice,” to me, it feels like he was in a rebellious place. And it’s harder to get heard when we’re in that place. So, humbling oneself like the song, “Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord,” is essential to getting to where God can help us. 

And how do you do that? Your adult is your access point, because your kid is usually part of the rebellion. So, it’s like, “Okay, the kid’s not gonna be a help. The kid’s easy to be fooled by Satan. So, I get strongly suspicious that my kid is on Satan’s side. So, I have to cry out to the Lord to help me get to my adult. It’s not easy all the time. Okay, proceed. You know how to do it. I explained it to you. 

Are you in rebellion in any area of your life? Humbling oneself is essential to getting to where God can help us. Cry out to the Lord to help you get into your adult to work to get you into the humble, contrite heart.
