Betty: St. Padre Pio knew Satan couldn’t do any more than God gave him permission to do. You want to put your whole trust in God’s glory. We all have a mission and it includes a cross. If God takes it from us, we know it’s time. Some people carry a cross for years. It’s through the cross that God gives us that our character is formed, and as we’re trying to get free, a miracle is working. God gives to each of us what we have the grace to bear. Satan wants to keep people dissatisfied. We never know what kind of cross a person is carrying. Can you say, “Lord, help me see the good you intend to bring out of this.”
