Betty: If you don’t own your shadow, people will get their shadow caught in yours. If you’re phony, people will pick it up in you, because you’re awakening it in them. The more you deal with your shadow, the less hooks you’ll have. We can only deal with the part of the shadow that we’re ready to deal with. Look at the manner, timing, and intensity. It has to be the right time. 

You can’t see your shadow until you step into the sun. Because we’re dealing with it in prayer, the Holy Spirit opens the doors we’re ready to handle. Ask the Holy Spirit to open and close doors in the proper manner, timing, and intensity.
